His love of research makes jumping into any period piece more fun than work.\n\n  \nAngel Creeks – Artistic Director for SigPro\nAngel Creeks has extensive background as a professional dancer for over 30 years. Her love of dance began at 4 years old when she would watch Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly on a loop. She loves studying the history of dance in all genres and looks forward to sharing a few dance moves from the Regency Era.

DESCRIPTION:Jon Lehrer Dance Company (JLDC) began in 2007 in Buffalo\, NY and has received critical acclaim nationally and internationally. Jon moved the company to his hometown of NYC in 2019\, where they have become a vibrant addition to the city’s dance community. Under Jon Lehrer’s artistic direction\, the company showcases his unique choreography and definitive style. His extensive background in both the modern and jazz dance idioms fosters choreography that is organic\, athletic\, artistic\, entertaining\, and often humorous\, reflecting human experiences. JLDC’s expressive style is based on three main elements of movement – Circularity\, 3- Dimensionality\, and Momentum – which combine to create a form that is best described as “Organically Athletic”. With creativity\, athleticism\, and the ability to make new and innovative modern and jazz dance accessible to all audiences\, the company has made quite a name for themselves in the dance world. Striking the elusive balance between art and entertainment\, JLDC showcases a dynamic\, fun\, and distinctive style which fuses jazz and modern dance\, creating a true spectacle onstage which can be enjoyed by dance experts and novices alike. JLDC tours extensively\, receiving critical acclaim worldwide. Dance Magazine praised\, “the company took the house not so much by storm as by quantum physics\,” and Galerie Ortenau in Offenburg\, Germany declared\, “Dynamic\, Powerful\, Elegant – brings an absolute passion for the dance.” From 2012-2016\, JLDC had the honor of touring to Russia\, sponsored by the US State Department in order to\, as they said\, “bring the best in American modern dance to the people of Russia.” These cultural diplomacy tours brought the company to Vladivostok\, Anadyr\, Perm\, Yekaterinburg\, Chukotka\, and Berezniki. JLDC has been touring to Europe since 2014. For their 2022 tour they premiered “Bernstein Celebration” – a full evening set to the music of Leonard Bernstein. JLDC was honored and privileged to be one of only a handful of dance companies worldwide given the rights to use Bernstein’s music. At home in NYC\, JLDC is a three time recipient of the prestigious CUNY Dance Initiative Award (2022\, 2023\, and 2025). DESCRIPTION:Based in Florida’s friendliest hometown\, “The Villages Philharmonic” is a professional Orchestra presenting the highest possible standard for excellence in musical performance since 2003. \nUnder the musical direction of acclaimed Conductor Pasquale Valerio\, the orchestra has grown in stature while enriching and shaping cultural life. The orchestra presents musical masterpieces to nourish the hearts\, souls and minds of local music patrons. \nMost members live in the Orlando area but we have regular members who come from as far afield as Jacksonville\, Tampa\, Daytona and St. Petersburg. The Philharmonic gives 13-15 concerts per year and so we don’t provide full time employment for any of the players. Our players are comprised of resident and international artists who collaborate with symphonic and operatic companies at large. Although most orchestra members are not Villagers\, there are two professional orchestra members who are Village residents and there are six amateurs who train each Saturday so that they can meet the standards required to play with the Philharmonic. \nFeaturing guest artists: \n\n Samantha Barnes Daniel\nSalvatore Minopoli\nSean Stork

In this interactive presentation\, environmental engineer\, and science communicator Dr. Tracy Fanara investigates real-world mysteries using live demonstrations and evidence-based reasoning. Together\, we’ll test phenomena from the bottom of the sea to space. Along the way\, the audience becomes part of the investigation\, turning curiosity into experiments and mysteries into measurable science. \nDr. Tracy Fanara is an environmental engineer\, research scientist\, stormchaser and television host with a BS\, ME\, and PhD from the University of Florida’s College of Environmental Engineering. With an unorthodox approach to investigation\, Tracy solves the problems no one else can by doing things no one else does. Tracy has a versatile background from trapping and saving alligators\, tagging sharks\, and mapping the ocean floor\, to designing water systems all over the world\, developing water treatment technology for earth and space\, and designing community science programs and apps to obtain environmental data to solve scientific mysteries. Tracy has international media recognition due to her expertise in hydrology and harmful algae blooms during the Florida Water crises. Tracy is now a scientist at the Nation’s Environmental Intelligence Agency\, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) where she works to understand earth systems and provide information needed to protect human lives and livelihoods from threats in a changing world. Tracy co-produces a STEM comic book called “Seekers of Science” and runs the STEM Summer Camp\, Mission: Tampa Bay. You may have seen Tracy on Science Channel’s Mythbusters and What On Earth?\, National Geographic’s SharkFest solving mysteries of shark bites\, Weather Channel’s Weird Earth\, FOX Weather or CBS; in Marvels Unstoppable Wasp\, or as Xylem YSI’s Mission Water\, Water Hero. Tracy is on a mission to share career journey and love for science and environment with students throughout the country.

DESCRIPTION:Etta May has performed her brand of clean-comedy on Oprah\, Showtime\, Comic Strip Live\, MTV\, and as a guest commentator on “CBS Sunday Morning\,” Winner of the prestigious American Comedy Awards “Female Comic Of The Year\,” and so much more.  In addition to television\, Etta May is a regular on Sirius-XM Comedy Channels and the syndicated Bob & Tom radio show.\n\n\nBorn and raised in Bald Knob\, Arkansas\, Etta May grew up alongside nine older brothers\, who referred to their baby sister as “the human sacrifice.” Etta May’s parents – her father\, a potpourri farmer\, and her mother\, bedridden by constant childbearing – didn’t realize she was a girl until she needed a training bra. \nShe met her husband\, Delbert\, an aspiring truck driver\, at a friend’s kegger. From across the yard\, their eyes locked in a loving look\, you know that stare that lasts a moment too long. Nine months later\, she was blessed with a boy\, and three more kids followed. “That’s where my comedy comes from. I just wait for my husband or kids to do something stupid\, and then I write it down.” \nBefore finding success as a stand-up comic\, Etta wandered from dead-end job to dead-end job\, including a 10-year stint as a school bus driver. She says she learned how to handle unruly kids by Armor-Alling the seats and slamming on the brakes all the way to school. Her theory: “Kind of hard to pick a fight with the kid in front of you when you’re just holding on for dear life.” \nThen she decided to take a chance on herself and follow her dream. This seven-time GRAMMY Award winner has enjoyed #1 hits in Pop\, Gospel\, R&B\, and Adult Contemporary\, and has triumphed in film\, television\, and live performance.\n\nAll told\, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums over the years\, including four solo albums: “Good Woman” (1991); “Just for You” (1994); the inspirational “Many Different Roads” (1999); and “At Last” (2001).  “At Last” showed the world that she still has what it takes to record a hit album\, employing the talents of contemporary producers like Randy Jackson.\n\nKnight has continued to spread her acting wings\, making a guest star appearance in the FOX hit show “Star” and appearing in the film “Almost Christmas” in 2016\, both which were produced and directed by Lee Daniels.  She appeared on ABC’s 14th season of “Dancing With The Stars” in 2012. The Philharmonic gives 13-15 concerts per year and so we don’t provide full time employment for any of the players. Our players are comprised of resident and international artists who collaborate with symphonic and operatic companies at large. Although most orchestra members are not Villagers\, there are two professional orchestra members who are Village residents and there are six amateurs who train each Saturday so that they can meet the standards required to play with the Philharmonic.

When Carole Montgomery (a stand up comedy veteran of over 40 years) started in the business\, you would never see two female comics on the same show. Fast forward to today’s comedy scene and nothing has changed\, even though there are way more women in comedy.\n\nWOACA was created to give older women comics a chance to be seen and be heard. Frustrated by how women are portrayed in show business once they hit the age of 50\, Carole decided to do something about it. It was only a few years ago that she had the idea to create a show that would travel to different cities and showcase a rotating cast of older female comedians. DESCRIPTION:Based in Florida’s friendliest hometown\, “The Villages Philharmonic” is a professional Orchestra presenting the highest possible standard for excellence in musical performance since 2003. \nUnder the musical direction of acclaimed Conductor Pasquale Valerio\, the orchestra has grown in stature while enriching and shaping cultural life. The orchestra presents musical masterpieces to nourish the hearts\, souls and minds of local music patrons. \nMost members live in the Orlando area but we have regular members who come from as far afield as Jacksonville\, Tampa\, Daytona and St. Petersburg. The Philharmonic gives 13-15 concerts per year and so we don’t provide full time employment for any of the players. Our players are comprised of resident and international artists who collaborate with symphonic and operatic companies at large. Although most orchestra members are not Villagers\, there are two professional orchestra members who are Village residents and there are six amateurs who train each Saturday so that they can meet the standards required to play with the Philharmonic.
