DESCRIPTION:Oh\, the stories waiting to be told! From the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus\, join Horton\, the Whos\, and the Cat in the Hat for a week of Seuss-inspired storytelling\, movement\, and musical fun. Full of rhythm\, rhyme\, and wild imagination\, students serve as junior ensemble members in the 3–8 grade Performance Workshop of Seussical Jr.!\n\n\nThis program is designed for all students—whether you dream of performing onstage\, simply want a fun way to make new friends\, or both! This class is perfect for students who want to try something new\, get creative\, and have a blast—whether it is their first theatre class or their fiftieth! \nWhat You Will Learn \n\nLearn lyrics and choreography to perform a variety of musical numbers\nBecome a character and play pretend with and in front of others\nVocabulary and skills related to the ‘actor toolbox’; body\, voice\, imagination\, and concentration\nHow to share opinions about a story with classmates\n\nWhat to Expect  \n\nEngaging\, interactive classes led by experienced teaching artists\nA supportive and inclusive environment designed for students to connect with each other\nCreative play and theatre games that explore the world\, characters\, and details of the class theme\nOpportunities to share ideas and receive personalized feedback\n\nWhat to Bring \n\nStudents should bring a water bottle\, a non-perishable lunch\, AND a snack each day. Please ensure all items are nut-free.\nAll necessary class materials are provided\n\nWhere to Go \n\nSharon Performing Arts Center; 1051 Main St\, The Villages\, FL 32159\n\nExtended Care \n\nExtended Care is available Monday-Friday from  4:00-5:30pm for an additional $30/week\nExtended care is not available on Saturday\n\nPresentation Day \n\nA culminating final performance for friends and family is on Saturday\, June 13 at 2:30pm\nEach student will get two complementary tickets for the performance included in their registration.
