Meet the Speakers:
Yasmeen Stogden – Development Director for SigPro
With a background as a professional flutist and a passion for music history, Yasmeen brings both performance experience and curiosity to the topic. Her study of Regency-era flute music has deepened her appreciation for the artistry and innovation of the period, and she enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with others.

Leslie Becker – Director of People and Culture for SigPro
Leslie has long been fascinated by cultural practices and the histories behind them—the sensible and sometimes peculiar rituals that define our humanity. She’s excited to share some of her favorite Regency-era customs, especially those involving the language and use of flowers.

Cory Garrett – Costume Shop Supervisor for The SigPro Studio
Cory’s passion for costuming started early on when he would steal his sister’s Barbies and make clothing for them based on movies or tv shows he had seen. This turned into earning an MFA in Entertainment Design with a focus on Costuming and Scenery. His love of research makes jumping into any period piece more fun than work.

Angel Creeks – Artistic Director for SigPro
Angel Creeks has extensive background as a professional dancer for over 30 years. Her love of dance began at 4 years old when she would watch Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly on a loop. She loves studying the history of dance in all genres and looks forward to sharing a few dance moves from the Regency Era.
