For the second year in a row Compass Creative Dramatics will take up residency at The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center, for a week long camp with students entering 1st-8th grade. In this all day camp, students will work with professional actor/directors rehearsing and performing Compass Creative Dramatics adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. They will also participate in exciting workshops for young students wanting to learn more about acting and theatre. The week long camp culminates in two performances on the stage of The Sharon June 9th and 10th at 5:00pm. Registration is available online at www.thesharon.com or in person at The Sharon's Box Office. All students will be cast as a role in the performance. The roles will be selected the first day of camp.

COST FOR CAMP

  • $100 per student –This includes two tickets to one of the final performances, or one ticket for each performance.

DETAILS OF CAMP

  • Students must provide their own sack lunches each day
  • Students who register for the camp must be present for the full (9:30-5:00) camp each day
  • Students who register must be present for both Final Performances on Friday and Saturday
  • Camp enrollment is a maximum of 75 participants
  • All Students will be cast as a role in the performance. The roles will be selected first day of camp
  • Students eligible to apply will be any student entering 1st-8th grade.
